Is God an alien?

If Heaven is a planet, The resident of Heaven, God..is he an Alien?

This is something that has been in my thoughts for atleast 10 years. It was in my eigth standard when I saw the movie Predator starring Schwarzenegger [well it took me three years to get his spelling right].
If the predator comes from an other planet, something that is non-existent to the Human gamut of comprehension...why can't heaven be one such planet? and why not the celestial beings that we talk about be Aliens..
After seeing the movie Species... [well, I haven't seen it fully till now]..there can be members of the Human race who can carry alien DNA...and the so-called-saints and pious people...why can't they be carrying the Alien DNA and hence their superpowers...
And analyzing Isaac Asimov, we are made to believe that Aliens are far more advanced than us..and why can't He be an alien, governing Planet Earth amongst a few thousand other planets and solar systems..???

My GOD, Do I sound like an atheist?...I am just coming back from temple..I am one highly spiritual being who trusts in GOD..God is so close to me..a friend, more than anything..and that makes me ridicule the comprehensions and definitions that we have for HIM.

As long as we FEAR God, and place him in the Heaven...We alienate Him..alienate ourselves from Him.

For me, and many others in the field of science...
Science is the religion and Newton is the Messiah!
He explains God much better than anyone else...

"Every body continues in its state of rest or uniform motion unless compelled by an external Force"...Well...
This external force is GOD..
No ambiguity...!!!

Any comments? Anyone?

alien :: [n] a form of life assumed to exist outside the Earth or its atmosphere

i believe that ur defn of alien, in terms of 'hollywoodfied' predator/species would not apply to the general defn of God - force, or superbeing. cos god by any defn, would still be part of Life, and Life in itself, supercedes all physical boundaries, like earth, or another planet. ;)
but i believe God does not need to exist in a defined space called Heaven, but within our hearts and souls.

Like they say , an athiest is closer to God than anyone else-->[K]NO[W] GOD ;)

Nevertheless , the concept of God itself was created and defined by people who wished to understand and put a face to this Force/Energy/Being whose presence we feel all around us. If that's the case than God/Force/Energy cannot exactly be conceptualised into a single defination. Which is probably what our ancestors recognised when they readily embraced the huge pantheon of Gods , because they simply could not accept that God existed in just a single form. This force , this majestic presence that we confront each day , is potrayed in so many different ways/forms/stories in so many different cultures. Because He is born from our minds , which makes us part of him and yet the fact that we can only imagine him and yet not 'prove' his existence makes him an enigma.

Maybe he is an Alien. I do not wish to conclude that Heavan can't be a planet and neither can God be an alien. Becasue if he can be anything , why not an alien?? After all , that would make more sense if we believe that all nature is a spark of the Divine Light. And an alien would be part of nature , part of the universe ............part of this complex tapestry called life.

True..God should not be existing in a defined space such as heaven! Thanks for re-emphasizing the point that I have tried to explain, in clearer terms..
But thats how he has been defined! And thats how he should not be defined..

God is a force..

and as Mistique rightly said, If he is everything, why can't he be an alien also?...

anyhow, I am very happy that this topic has generated such enlightened thoughts from the spirited souls...Thanks
